These terms explain the agreement between you and Pretty Simple Business when you use prettysimplebusiness.com or buy my digital products and services. I've kept them as clear and simple as I can.
1. About these terms
This website is run by Mia Sorensen, trading as Pretty Simple Business ("I", "me", "us"). Pretty Simple Business is a brand of Digital Growth Studio, Vensløkkevej 2, 4960 Holeby, Denmark. CVR: 27856705. Email: hello@prettysimplebusiness.com.
By using this website, joining my email list or buying from me, you agree to these terms, together with my Privacy Policy, Refund Policy and Disclaimer. If you don't agree, please don't use the website or buy from me.
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to buy from me.
2. Buying from me
- Checkout is handled by ThriveCart, with payments processed by ThriveCart's payment providers (such as Stripe and PayPal). Prices are shown in USD at checkout and may include or add tax depending on where you live.
- Your order is confirmed when you receive a confirmation email. I may refuse or cancel an order, for example if a price was listed incorrectly. If that happens, I'll refund you in full.
- I may change my prices at any time, but changes won't affect orders you've already placed.
- If you choose a payment plan, you agree to make every payment on schedule. If a payment fails and isn't fixed within 7 days, I may pause your access until it's paid.
3. Digital products
When you buy a digital product, such as a guide, planner, template, checklist or course, you get a personal, non-transferable licence to use it for your own business.
You may:
- download, print and use the product for yourself and your own business
- adapt templates and swipe copy for your own emails and marketing
You may not:
- share, resell, give away or publish the product, or share your login details
- pass off the product, or any part of it, as your own work
- use it to create a competing product, course or training, or to teach my methods to your own clients without permission
- use any part of it to train artificial intelligence tools
Unless a product says otherwise, you have access for as long as I offer the product. If I ever stop offering a product, I'll give you reasonable notice so you can download your copy.
4. Services
For coaching, consulting and done-for-you services:
- What's included, the price and the timeline will be described on the sales page, in a proposal or in a separate client agreement. If a client agreement says something different from these terms, the client agreement applies.
- Sessions are booked through my scheduling link. Please arrive on time. If you're more than 15 minutes late, the session may count as missed.
- Cancellations, rescheduling and refunds are covered in my Refund Policy.
- You're responsible for giving me the information, access and feedback I need, on time. Delays on your side may delay the work.
- I may record sessions for your benefit, but only if you agree first.
5. Refunds
My digital products come with My Do-The-Work Guarantee: fill in your planner, follow the steps, and if your list isn't growing within 30 days, I'll refund every cent. Services have their own cancellation terms. You'll find all the details in my Refund Policy.
The SIMPLE Listbuilding Kit
The SIMPLE Listbuilding Kit includes the Simple Listbuilding Guide (a PDF), the Simple Listbuilding Planner (an online tool, plus a printable PDF version) and the Simple Listbuilding AI Coach (a prompt to use with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini). I may update and improve the planner and the AI Coach over time. Any AI tool you use the AI Coach with is run by another company and has its own terms.
6. My content
Everything on this website and in my products, emails and services, including text, images, designs, planners, the S.I.M.P.L.E. Method, the Pretty Simple Business name and logo, belongs to me or is used with permission. It's protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Apart from the licence in section 3, nothing in these terms gives you ownership of or rights to my content.
You're welcome to share links to my website and short quotes with credit to Pretty Simple Business.
7. Your content and conduct
If you send me feedback, comments, testimonials or questions, you allow me to use them to improve my business and, for testimonials, to share them with your first name, unless you ask me not to. In any community, group or live session, please be kind and respectful, and don't share anything private about other members. I may remove anyone who is abusive, spams or breaks these terms, without a refund.
8. Results
I share what has worked for me and my clients, but I can't guarantee any income, subscriber numbers or other results. Your results depend on you and on many things outside my control. Please read my full Disclaimer.
9. Third-party tools
My products and services may recommend or link to other tools and websites. I'm not responsible for them, and your use of them is covered by their own terms.
10. Limitation of liability
The website, products and services are provided "as is". To the fullest extent the law allows, I'm not responsible for any indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, lost data or lost business opportunities. My total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid me for the product or service the claim relates to.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, or takes away your legal rights as a consumer.
11. Indemnity
If you break these terms or misuse my products, and someone makes a claim against me as a result, you agree to cover the reasonable costs of that claim.
12. Changes to these terms
I may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page when you place an order is the one that applies to that order.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Denmark, and any disputes will be handled by the Danish courts. If you're a consumer, you may also have the right to bring a claim in the courts where you live. Before going down that road, please email me. Most problems can be sorted out with a friendly conversation.
